WalletHub looks at safest states during the pandemic


WASHINGTON - When it comes to the safest states during the ongoing pandemic, one website didn't find too many problems in our area.

WalletHub ranked Missouri as the 15th safest, followed by Kansas ranking 17th, Iowa at 24th and Nebraska at 34th.

The website looked at several COVID-19 metrics, including vaccinations, testing, deaths, transmissions and hospitalizations. Wallet-Hub says the safest state was Alaska while the least safest was Georgia.
